First transfer done!

Sad to leave my first área, but excited to walk some stairs and hills😵‍💫. I am now with Elder Violante! He is from Portugal!! He talks a lot different them everyone else I have talked with so far. But I can kinda understand him which is veryyyy good. Still can't understand specifically what people say but I can get the general idea of what they say. I have met some pretty cool members while out tracking. And had some pretty good food as well.

First day walking was a nice chill day. Went and talked with a couple poeple Violante had been teaching before. Then went to a members house and stayed there for a couple hours talking and learning more about the area and the people. They made some spaghetti and sausage. It was good!
The next day we had zone conference! I got to see carver and treese and ames!! It was awsome to see them and how they have grown in the launguage. We had some good eats and chilled for a little before going back to the house.

I finally ate tambaqui!!! It's a very popular fish in Amazonas, and it was reaallyyy good!! Also had some bomb brownies she has for her Market she owns. We tried contacting more people but it's hard cause no one is ever home or they don't wanna hear nothing.

Sunday was a great day! I forgot my tag!!! Só we asked a memeber if he could drive us back to the house to get it. So the day started of shaky. But when we got back one of the people Violante is trying to get baptized came to church!! He seemed very interested in all of the church aspects. Sadly he didn't stay for second hour and had to go home. But it's cool to see poeple that we are teaching come to church.
After church we ate at a members house and had liquid açaí. It was really good. We went to some people's house but they weren't home sadly. We went to a street with about 3 house and went to clapping.( we clap and knock but it's normal to clap here). The last house that was on the street we were looking for this lady that had been taught a few months back. She wasn't there but her sister and dad were. We had a nice message with them and she had a lot to ask and say. We don't know if it will go any further but it was a great lesson in my opinion.
Really not much to say it has been a tiring week with cleaning the old house and transfers.
PS. Yep Robert it's a rough time in these streets. I feel full as crap EVERYDAY but the food is sooooo good.

OHHH I forgot to mention about the first meal I had. I finally have had lasagna here. It was at a irmãs house that is also a lunch restaurant. Ohhhh my goodness it was soooooo good. I wanna go back but it's only open for lunch, and we are booked until I leave.😢

The crib is pretty nice. Violante worked really hard to clean it(it was really bad when he came to this area). It's definitely a lot cooler than the other house. The other house in itacoatiara was a sauna!

Remember God is always with you just pray. I never put anything spiritual spiritual on here. But talk to people you wouldn't think to talk to before. Could be on the street or a friend. Just talk.

Imma take a nap now goodnight!
